Forks Fire responded to a haz-mat spill / leak inside a residence on Wagon Wheel Drive.  A crew entered to evaluate, and found that there was a hole in a fuel tank that was freely leaking on the floor.  Using a leak kit, dowel and plumbers putty, the leak was significantly slowed.  Lehigh County HAZMAT was contacted, and upon arrival an operations plan was developed and followed.  Containment was made around the spill area and absorbant materials were put in place (speedy dry, pigs and pads).  Salvage and overhaul were preformed to minimize damage to the structure.  Ventilation of the enclosed basement was accomplished with negative pressure duct ventilation and positive pressure ventilation.
