Elwood "Tiny" Smith was laid to rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, carried aboard the department's antique Maxim fire engine. Tiny was a life member of the Fire Company, and also served Forks Township throughout the years as a municipal supervisor, police chief, and fire chief.

Tiny will always be remembered for his kind heart and enthusiastic support of the Fire Company.
